Job Title: DevOps Engineer Job Description This position is for a DevOps Engineer. A DevOps Engineer plans and evolves processes and infrastructure to execute programs which support rapid maturation and deployment of capability while sustaining a stable security posture and incorporating ongoing stakeholder feedback. The role involves integrating development pipelines leveraging automation with test-driven development tools and continuous integration/test frameworks. The DevOps Engineer will implement provisioning and deployment techniques via packaging, componentizing, or Cloud distribution. Functioning with agile principles to execute efficiently in an environment of continuous feedback is essential. Additionally, the role ensures implementation of Software Configuration Management (SCM), code quality, and code coverage with automated testing for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work. Essential Skills + Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance. + Active/adjudicated Polygraph (CI or FSP). + Completed STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics). + 5-8 years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's STEM degree. + Experience developing microservices. + Experience with Kubernetes, AWS/C2S, and Terraform. + Experience with Linux and Ansible. + Experience with Git/Version Control Software. + Ability to express technical information clearly at different organizational levels. + Familiarity with API Security, Container Security, and AWS Cloud Security. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience creating, developing, and implementing solutions to address infrastructure and security requirements. + Ability to identify the needs to build automation, design, and implement CI/CD solutions. + Experience working with Docker containers and Helm charts. + Familiarity with space vehicle ground segment design. + Experience with Agile development. + Excellent technical writing skills. Work Environment The position supports a 9/80 work schedule, allowing employees to work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off. This schedule or other work-hour flexibility options can be determined upon hire. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
