No Remote or Hybrid availability will be offered.Axos is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join an outstanding and highly motivated team of experts, to perform cloud environment management, continuous integration, continuous delivery/deployment based on Kubernetes architecture, and to support our applications of software.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Manage Azure PipelinesAssist in the creation, configuration, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient automation of build and release processes to support deployments on on-prem infrastructure.Containerization with Docker
Build, manage, and optimize Docker images for application deployment on on-prem servers, ensuring that containers are production-ready and troubleshoot any container-related issues.Deploy and Manage Applications on Kubernetes (OpenShift or AWS EKS)
Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters, including OpenShift or self-managed Kubernetes on on-prem servers, ensuring scalability and high availability.Monitor and Troubleshoot Deployments
Continuously monitor the health and performance of deployed applications on on-prem servers and Kubernetes clusters, addressing issues related to deployments, infrastructure, and application environments.Linux Knowledge for Troubleshooting and Scripting
Utilize Linux-based knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to containerized applications and server environments on on-prem systems. Assist in writing scripts and managing deployment tasks on Linux.Write and Maintain PowerShell and Bash Scripts
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash to streamline deployment processes, system management, and other repetitive tasks in on-prem environments.Collaborate with Development and Operations Teams
Work closely with development, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications on on-prem servers, ensuring alignment with best practices.Implement Monitoring and Logging Solutions
Set up and manage monitoring tools to track the performance of deployed applications and infrastructure on on-prem servers, using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or other on-prem monitoring solutions.Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Practices
Assist in the development and maintenance of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible, to automate the provisioning and management of on-prem server infrastructure.Optimize Deployment Processes for On-Prem Environments
Focus on optimizing the deployment pipelines for on-prem environments, ensuring efficient scaling, low latency, and minimal downtime during application deployments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field2+ years' experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes1+ year's working with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Azure DevOps or GitHub, focusing on creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Actions). This includes automating build, release, and deployment processes to facilitate CI/CD in both cloud and on-prem infrastructure.At least 1 year of experience in automating tasks using PowerShell (for Windows environments) and Bash (for Linux environments) is requiredFamiliar with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK StackAxos Employee Benefits May Include:
