System One is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity, with a remote work model.

This role focuses on deploying and maintaining enterprise applications, automating processes, and ensuring high-quality configuration management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and deploy enterprise applications such as GitHub Enterprise and Jenkins.

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Automate software installations and improve infrastructure reliability.

Document installation procedures, configurations, and technical processes.

Perform maintenance tasks, including patching, updates, and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with engineers and teams to optimize products and services.

Stay updated on DevOps technologies and provide tier 3 application support.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience with DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and automation technologies (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).

Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

Experience with Windows Server, Linux RHEL, containers (e.g., Docker), and SQL databases.

Preferred Skills:

College degree and experience with infrastructure automation, disaster recovery, and virtualization.

Knowledge of advanced DevOps practices and CI/CD optimization.
