Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a DevOps Engineer on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.
The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.
Responsibilities Configures CI/CD for multiple web applicationsTakes source code, dependencies to perform application buildsPerforms automated testing and security scansDeploys to multiple environments (Dev, Staging, Operations)Responsible for Infrastructure as Code and configuration managementAuthors helm charts to deploy resources to OpenShiftManages and documents system security, by performing software updates in response to scan findings, document system, architecture to demonstrate security compliance QualificationsClearance Required: TS/SCI with a CI poly.
Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major, or 3 additional years of experience in information technology
5-8+ years of experienceDesired Certifications:
Technical certification Network +, Security +, Oracle or specializing in Software Development, or Cloud Computing.Required Skills:
Proficiency with Linux operating systemsExperience with GitWorking experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar)Ability to manage networking for web applications by understanding PCP/IP, DNS, and load balancingFamiliarity with Kubernetes and OpenShift, with ideal knowledge of AWS, GCP, and/or AzureExperience with Infrastructure as Code (one or more of Terraform, Cloudformation, AWS CDK, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)Knowledgeable of including containerization, monitoring & logging, and network & securityExperience deploying and managing databases, interacting with databases via SQL and ORMsComfortable using Python and BASH to create systems toolingAbility to contribute code updates/tweaks to existing code repositoriesExperience with software system design, able to create application architecture for new applicationsExperience with integrating security components with applications and databasesDesired Skills:
Familiarity with Configuration Management and Request for Change process for review and assessmentExperience with delivery of an integrated solution using Agile software delivery techniquesExperience in System Engineering and project/program management.Knowledge and/or experience with NGA enterprise products.
