Job Requirement for DevOps Engineer + Lead the deprecation of the existing API Gateway, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal service disruption. + Design and implement a modernized service layer, leveraging microservices and cloud-native architectures. + Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, ensuring seamless integration of new services. + Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration tools to deploy and manage services efficiently. + Implement API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, OpenID Connect) for the new service layer. + Collaborate with software engineers to refactor and migrate legacy services to modern frameworks and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). + Optimize networking, load balancing, and traffic routing for improved performance and scalability. + Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system reliability using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog). + Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. + Document best practices, architecture decisions, and migration strategies for future scalability and maintenance.
