Position OverviewAs a DevOps engineer at DrFirst, you get the challenging, yet rewarding task of taking our products and scaling them. We are a passionate, entrepreneurial, and curious team that is constantly experimenting and learning and will expect you to as well.
In this role, you will be the in-house expert on building reliable and maintainable DevOps systems to scale. You will work closely with the product and analytics teams to define and implement the necessary infrastructure, services, and procedures to maintain an efficiently working set of reliable high availability systems.

Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage systems ensuring high availability, performance and scalabilityDesign and implement cloud solutions to support continuous delivery and continuous integration processesPeriodically assess all monitoring requirements and implement necessary enhancements to meet changing/growing business needsWork with senior leaders to developer complex, enterprise-level initiatives that are part of company's overall strategic directionTune and troubleshoot full-stack software applications using OOPS, Java, web-services, Oracle DB, Mongo DB, networks concepts and virtualization techniques (Kubernetes)Proactively review, recommend and implement changes to the live infrastructure after ensuring the right validation has been carried outProvide scripted solutions to special projects Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (Master’s preferred)Five (5) years of experience working in software developmentExperience with building CI / CDExperience with Kubernetes - deployments, configuration maps and secrets - networking services and ingress controllers (AWS specific)Experience with Jenkins installation and configuration including creation and maintenance of jobsExperience working with Docker containers: building, maintaining, debuggingFamiliarity with technology tools such as ELK, Confluence, JIRA and JenkinsSelf-motivated and technically curiousAbility to work independently and prioritize competing priorities Physical Requirements 70% Desk/phone work30% Standing/moving throughout the office#LI-GF1 #LI-Remote
