DevOps Engineer - GitHub Administration

The Dev Tools and Enablement (DT&E) team part of a multi-product team that is responsible for managing GitHub and various GitHub suite of products like CoPilot, Codespace, Actions.  Other products within the department include JFrog Artifactory, JFrog Edge Node, Sonatype Nexus and Github applications at Ford, including the design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of the products. Candidate’s primary role will be to manage GitHub platform, migrating from on-prem system to the cloud.  Candidate needs to be flexible to learn and support other products like Nexus and other tools which are part of DT&E products suite.  Candidate will collaborate with internal customers and external partners and key stakeholders

 

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience 3+ years of relevant industry experienceMust have: 3+ years’ experience with Github platformMust have: Scripting knowledge in Bash or Python to automate processMust have: Good understanding of CI / CD pipelineNice to have: JavaScript, Java/SpringBoot
