What you will do...

Responsibilities for a DevOps / Platform Engineer:

 

Develop and maintain software build infrastructure, development environments, and automated build, test, publish, and deployment pipelinesConfigure services related to software build / delivery / deployment, package security, and configuration managementInterface with IT technical staff to obtain virtualized and bare-metal hardware, software, and licenses required to implement servicesAssist developers and engineers with troubleshooting software build / delivery / deployment issuesConfigure and build containers in support of build processes – including Docker (Linux and Windows), Singularity, and podmanDevelop and enhance existing service and software deployment automationWrite and maintain documentation of new and existing processes to comply with Government requirements Skills you will need...

Minimum Requirements

Must have an active or current DoD security clearance at the Secret level.  Must be able to maintain the required clearance. Eligibility for cleared access in this instance requires US citizenship.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical discipline.5+ years of relevant experienceKnowledge of software build, test, and packaging tools, such as CMake/CTest, Conan, Maven, Anaconda, Python setuptools, etc.Experience with build automation platforms like Jenkins (preferred), GitLab, GitHub ActionsExperience with infrastructure automation tools, e.g., Ansible, Puppet, ChefKnowledge of cloud and cluster infrastructure configuration and deployment such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes/EKS/AKSAbility to write and comprehend Linux shell scripts, Windows PowerShell scripts, and PythonMust be able and willing to travel up to 5%

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Active or current DoD Secret security clearanceExperience working in a classified environmentExperience with NIST 800-53 or STIG security standards and compliance for Linux systems and containers
