We are currently seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in McLean, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

NTT DATA is seeking a skilled and proactive Software Developer with focus on DevSecOps to join our development team. The DevSecOps engineer will work closely with various development and infrastructure teams to understand and analyze the application components and their build, deployment, dependency, and security requirements, and develop the DevSecOps solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC) techniques, enterprise standard tools, and industry best practices. The candidate will need a strong focus on automation, self-service, rapid feedback, system monitoring, continuous improvement and leveraging best practices throughout the agile software development life cycle (SDLC). They will be responsible for maintaining and improving our CI/CD pipeline throughout the software development lifecycle. They will assist with application integration and troubleshooting in this infrastructure for a complex application environment, including management of dependencies on services, platforms, and other applications within the infrastructure.

 

 

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient software applications according to business requirements. Modernizing our aging applications Creating product specific installation packages to support streamlined, repeatable production system loading on both stand alone as well as networked multi-system platforms Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure and efficient software delivery. Supporting engineering by integrating hardware and software during all phases of development Responsible to institute best DevSecOps practices Diagnosing, repairing, and documenting a wide range of complex network and software issues Collaborating with Senior Engineers and Senior Field Technicians to document, automate, and validate deployment tools Validating COTS hardware and software to work within the environments Working with engineers to run equipment and integration tests Supporting development of test procedures; maintaining equipment during integration, internal testing, and customer testing Scripting system tasks, local and networked. (PowerShell, Batch, VBS, bash, groovy, etc.) The ability to create and load custom Windows and Linux images to a wide range of computer hardware platforms Installing systems in final configurations Supporting software and hardware engineering as needed Experience in the following areas Windows and Linux Administration, Software Configuration Management (SCM) using Github or Gitlab Change Management, Build Management, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), Deploying and Releasing the Code from one Environment to another Environment

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, 5+ Years of DevSecOps experince One of the following certification perfered Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, DoDD 8140 Certification, AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, or similar  Green card or US Citizenship required for the Government Public Trust Secuirty Clearance 

 

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $125,000 to $250,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
