Amentum is currently seeking an DevSecOps Engineer to join our award-winning team. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering and 4 years of experience or master’s degree and 2 years of software development experience. **DevSecOps Engineer Responsibilities Include:** + Supporting analysis of software performance characteristics in the software development life and test cycle, to measure the computer processing time usage and come up with better methods of disk space utilization, network loading and throughout. + Designing, coding and maintenance of software support tools and models. + Supporting the analysis of tools to aid in the software development process including test automation tools, code coverage tools, and memory checking tools. + Primary work location will be at Fredericksburg, Virginia area with occasional travel opportunities. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Math, Computers Science, and/or Physics with Four (4) + years’ experience or Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Math, Computers Science, and/or Physics with Two (2) + years’ experience. + Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance. + Possession or desire to pursue a Comptia Security+ or equivalent Certification or ability to obtain within 1 month of start **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with tools such as: Jenkins, SonarQube, GitLab, Docker, Java, Python, Ruby, Perl, Scripting YAML, SAST (Static Application Security Testing), DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) and other frameworks and methods to improve the continuous improvement/continuous delivery pipeline of a software development factory. **Benefits and Perks** + Health, Vision, and Dental + 401K with match + Tuition Reimbursement + Wellness Program + Growth opportunities and career progression + Various company discounts + Basic life and AD&D insurance + Paid time off + Flexible Holidays + Parental Leave Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
