Utilising this knowledge and experience Thales Australia will deliver a harmonised Civil/Military Air Traffic Management System (OneSKY) in Australia to Airservices Australia and Defence.

Your role
As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Environments team that is instrumental in our journey towards a Cloud-first, data-driven organization. You’ll design, engineer, and implement Cloud solutions for the AMS organization, modernizing our infrastructure and enhancing our ways of working.
We’re are searching for a ‘team first’ team member, someone who is organised, proactive and is open to learning. We work within a highly collaborative environment with a focus on continuous learning.
This position is hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) based in our office in Melbourne CBD.
Some responsibilities include:
Develop and implement solutions for infrastructure and security needs.Drive continuous and consistent delivery through automated CI/CD pipelines.Create reusable solutions and patterns for CI/CD pipelines.Promote and share best practices for CI/CD.Troubleshoot and resolve DevSecOps issues.These technical skills are important but keep in mind the ability to learn and collaborate within our team is of the highest priority:
Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle with 2+ years commercial experience.Experience or understanding in some of these DevSecOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Terraform, Git)Experience with Azure, Linux (RedHat), Windows.Programming and scripting skills or experience (Go, Python, JAVA, Perl, bash).Experience or knowledge in Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management, and Containerisation.Qualifications/Certificates
Formal qualification in Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.Australian Citizenship as there may be a need for defence clearance#LN-HN1
