Role: Devx Consultant
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
We are looking for an individual at least 10 years of strong DevOps background must be experienced in automation as well as development as well as integrate various tools. Self-motivated, go getter individual.
Required:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building developer portal using Backstage (or similar platform) with the strong technical knowledge in React /Node and DevOps principles. Familiarity in SPACE & DORA metrics are needed
The candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure solutions that align with our comp
Implement tools and systems necessary for the development and continuous improvement of the DevX practice. [Tech Garage(backstage), Test Automation, CI/CD processes]
Candidate must have DevOps background with CI/CD and backstage.
Also cloud architecture experience (GCP or any other) is a must.
React Js, JavaScript, GIT, Azure/AWS/GCP, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes
Responsibility
Ability to lead, assess and deliver the Developer productivity & DevOps productivity improvement Platform using BackStage hence ideal candidate must have had good amount of development (React /Node) and good knowledge in DevOps to ensure we deliver the DevX Strategies as defined by client
Familiarity with SPACE and DORA frameworks.
Collaborate with leaders to integrate DevX strategies with business, product, and technology roadmaps.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the DevX function and monitor the impact of strategic initiatives on developer satisfaction and productivity.
Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure microservices architectures.
Oversee the integration and deployment processes using Jenkins and GITHUB.
Provide expertise in SRE practices to ensure system reliability and performance.
Implement security best practices on Google Cloud Platform to protect data and applications.
Utilize DevOps tools to automate and streamline development and operational processes.
Manage and optimize GCP Platform resources to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.
Develop and maintain Docker containers for consistent and reliable application deployment.
Qualifications:
BS or Equivalent experience
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
