The DEXA Technician performs a variety of technical work related to the taking and processing of x-ray films and work relative to the department's scope of activities as required.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of a Bone Densitometry Program or Radiology Program (CRT). Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist or Upon hire: California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician Bone Densitometry Permit Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Bone Densitometry Experience as a DEXA Technician; 2 years preferred.
