DFA is seeking an individual with documented and verifiable experience providing day to day operational technical support of a Microsoft based Enterprise network.
Complete Description:
The selected candidate will augment current staff as part of a Network Systems Team, to provide day to day operational support , participate in the implementation of new systems, management of current systems and participate in various projects involving the enterprise environment.
Qualified candidates MUST have hands-on experience in all the required skills. The Candidate answers to the questions must be provided.
Individual will be expected to IMMEDIATELY contribute to the improvement of the existing Enterprise by identifying issues and suggesting policy and procedure improvements to management.
Daily duties in this position will be:
Monitoring our issues tracking system and responding to requests for network support.
Managing file and print servers, including security, performance, and other configuration changes.
Providing support and administration of SQL databases in a SQL server clustered configuration.
Providing support to other teams (Infrastructure Team and Core Team) as requested.
Providing support for backups, tape and VLS management.
Providing support for Active Directory issues and support others in management of users and assets
Providing support for remote users (various methods include Microsoft Direct Access, VPN, and FTP processes)
Selected individual will be able to demonstrated experience and knowledge in these critical areas:
Microsoft Server Operating systems (2003 to 2008 R2)
Symantec Backup Exec
Microsoft Systems Center products
Microsoft SQL performance and tuning support (2005 and up)
Microsoft Hyper-V
Exchange 2010
