DGB Technician

Position Overview:
The DGB Specialist performs maintenance on all company DGB equipment and provides guidance and training to other mechanics. This role includes overseeing maintenance operations, performing complex repairs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Skills are typically acquired through completion of competency requirements, on-the-job training, and relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and complete all essential functions required of Entry-Level through Level 3 Mechanics or Electronic Technicians.Assist with equipment function checks at the facility and in the field.Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, including engine, electrical, HVAC, suspension, transmission, brake, communication, and hydraulic systems.Perform complex repairs on gas blending (DGB) equipment.Oversee maintenance on all DGB equipment as needed.Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the gas train from the gas source to gas consumption in engine cylinders.Plan and execute DGB maintenance programs.Inspect and approve completed repairs.Create maintenance orders in SAP or SAP Fiori systems.Mentor and coach entry-level and lower-level maintenance personnel during repairs.Coordinate and facilitate HSE meetings and trainings; report unsafe acts, conditions, or hazards immediately.Comply with all customer and company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.Actively participate in safety meetings to identify and address risks and hazards.Utilize competency processes to enhance job performance.Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.Lead and present during meetings with regional teams, Operations, and District Managers.Use engine/transmission diagnostic software and demonstrate knowledge of all related tools and software.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to identify, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment including engine, electrical, HVAC, suspension, transmission, brake, diagnostic, communication, hydraulic, and cryogenic systems.Knowledge of applicable DOT regulations.Ability to supervise and oversee maintenance on all DGB equipment.Strong mentoring and coaching skills.Ability to facilitate HSW (Health, Safety, and Wellness) meetings and trainings.Vast knowledge of sensors used in oilfield electronics.Knowledge of processes for reviewing, recording, and retaining proper maintenance records.Ability to coordinate corrective maintenance activities and plan resources effectively.Experience inspecting completed repairs prior to returning equipment to production.Eligibility to drive company vehicles (must be maintained).Ability to read, write, and speak English to issue, receive, and respond to instructions.Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations.

Language Comprehension:
Must understand and speak English at a proficiency level allowing the employee to issue, receive, and respond to both safety and operations-related directions in English.
