Service Quality and Compliance: Achieve optimum serviceability for all engineering systems and installations; ensure 100% compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Maintain thorough documentation of all processes, including design drawings and specifications, to uphold service quality.
Maintenance Efficiency: Strict monitoring of preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities, enhancing operational uptime. Establish and monitor performance metrics; minimize system downtime and manage emergency repairs effectively.
Budget Management: Finalize and manage the CAPEX and operating budget (R&M, Electricity, Water, PNG) annually; track expenses and implement corrective actions where necessary. Report on energy consumption, devising strategies for conservation and optimization. Prepare and implement strategies to optimize operational cost.
Project Management: Successfully coordinate and complete enhancement and refurbishing projects, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and safety standards. Provide relevant technical advice to team during project execution to avoid coordination issues.
Team Development and Culture: Lead employee development initiatives, including training programs focused on enhancing technical skills and operational knowledge. Maintain a high morale within the team, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Relationships: Establish strong working relationships with internal departments (Operations, Security, etc.) and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks and projects. Monitor vendor performance regularly and maintain compliance with agreed SLAs.
Regulatory Affairs and Legal Compliance: Provide necessary assistance and documentation for all regulatory compliances. If required, attend hearings and provide input on legal matters relating to engineering operations.
Process Improvement and Innovation: Actively contribute ideas for enhancing operational procedures, environmental initiatives, and cost-reduction strategies. Implement best practices from industry knowledge to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction levels.
Educational Qualification
Mandatory: M-Tech/ME/B-Tech/BE in Electrical Engineering Desirable: PGDM/MBAExperience
Essential:
15-20 years of experience in maintenance. Proven experience in Operation and Maintenance roles, particularly in large infrastructureor airport environments.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, project management, budgeting, and safety regulations. Effective communication skills and experience managing teams and vendor relationships.Desired:
Knowledge of Advance Excel & Auto CAD will be an added advantage Exposure in Aviation SectorTechnical / Functional Skills Required
