Diagnostic Imaging - Radiology Tech

This is a TPD (0.2 Status) variable shift Radiology Tech position in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

Coordinates and performs diagnostic radiographic procedures as indicated by Department protocols. Provides exceptional patient and family care throughout the imaging process.

Minimum Requirements:

Graduate of JRCERT accredited school of Radiography required.Must be ARRT registered or eligible.Limited licensed technologist will be allowed to apply as long as they are seeking their ARRT registry.Must attain ARRT registry within one (1) year of employment.Current BLS, Healthcare Provider BLS within 30 days of hire.Basic computer skills to include PACS and RIS.Effective communication skills.Capacity to perform on-call, shift, holidays and weekends are required within a 20-minute response time for call backs required.

Preferred / Desired:

Recent hospital experience preferred in Radiology.Additional Imaging experience in other modalities/registries in CT, Angiography, and preferred.Current Healthcare Provider BLS preferred.

On-Call / Weekends: Call & Weekends required.
