Astria Health is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist III to join our team! We are looking for a someone who is experienced in Ultrasound and Echo procedures. This is a Full Time position that includes Weekends and Night Shifts.

 

What you get to do every day!

 

As the  Diagnostic Imaging Technologist III, this position performs diagnostic Ultrasound and/or Echo procedures, in accordance with physicians’ orders and established hospital/clinic procedure. The technologist prepares procedures for interpretation by obtaining correct patient histories, preparing the patient chart, and processing the images. You will:

Show knowledge of anatomy & physiology, cross sectional anatomy, and proper positioning to obtain best imaging.Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding Calibrate and maintain equipmentAbility to recognize unusual/abnormal imagesAbility to monitor the patients’ physiologic changes during imagingPerform other duties as assignedCollaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization

Required Qualifications and Education.

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Ultrasound or Echo curriculum Registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Ultrasound and/or Echo. Basic Life Support certification. Oral and written fluency in the English language.
