Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Schedule:

Casual On call weekday evenings and every 6th weekend Occasional 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. shift for vacation coverage Rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits:

Pay based on experience Earn extra pay for working evening and weekend shifts

Qualifications: 

Registered in diagnostic medical sonography in the specialty(ies) as appropriate. Registry to be obtained within one year. Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card. Previous sonography experience preferred. Ability to use independent judgment to acquire optimum diagnostic information.  Effective knowledge of sonographic procedures and equipment.  High degree of knowledge in anatomy and physiology.

25-bed critical access hospital including Birthing Center, Medical/Surgical Unit, Pediatrics, and ICU 10-bed Geriatric Behavorial Health Unit. Extensive Outpatient Services: Level IV Emergency Department with ambulance service, Heart Care, Surgical Services, Sleep Center, Diabetes & Nutrition Education, Integrated Behavioral Health, Vascular Care, and Wound Care. Full Imaging, Laboratory Services, and Respiratory Therapy.  89-bed Extended Care Facility
