Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Minimum of 5 years of experience in an ultrasound department of equal or greater size and volume, performing vascular and diagnostic procedures. Alternatively, candidates with 10 years of experience in a hospital ultrasound department of equal or greater size and volume will be considered if they have not graduated from a CAAHEP-accredited program. Vascular Technologist (RVT) Diagnostic Medical Sonographers registration within 9 months of hire. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certified. Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card. Demonstrated expertise in anatomy and physiology.
