Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist I, II, or III (This is a float position for all CN facilities)

Overview GENERAL DESCRIPTION Performs entry-level to routine (journey-level) radiological work Qualifications Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist I QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree from a 2-year college or technical school in Radiology; or must have successfully completed a formal education program accredited by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists. No experience required. COMPETENCIES Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Attentiveness. Technical expertise. Manual dexterity. Customer/client orientation PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must certified in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R). Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire and maintain throughout employment. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. OTHER REQUIREMENTS The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.
