Diagnostic Technician
Job Title: Diagnostic TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Diagnostic Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for following study protocols, processing specimens in a timely manner, and performing various diagnostic tests. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and ensuring patient safety through proper aseptic collection techniques. Responsibilities + Follow study protocol and instructions accurately. + Process specimens promptly as per instructions. + Centrifuge samples efficiently. + Draw IV or capillary blood from patients using proper aseptic collection techniques. + Draw and deliver all blood work within the department. + Utilize proper equipment for vital signs and EKG. Essential Skills + 1 year of experience in specimen processing and centrifuging samples. + Active Medical Assistant certification. + Ability to perform phlebotomy and diagnostic testing. + Experience with EKG. + Strong customer service skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to read and follow protocols accurately. Work Environment Training hours are from 8am to 4:30pm during the first 90 days. After training, the schedule will shift to four 10-hour shifts from 8am to 6:30pm, with one late week where you will leave at 7:30pm. Initially, the work schedule will be Monday to Friday, transitioning to a set schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday with Thursday off. This schedule may change based on department needs.
