Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)
Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Dialysis Registered Nurses to support the Miami VA Healthcare System located at 1201 NW 16th St, Miami, Florida 33125. Nurses may also be asked to provide services at Community Based Outpatient Centers (CBOC). Multiple shift schedules are available. Responsibilities The Dialysis services shall be provided in accordance with the policies of the VA healthcare system where assigned. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Responsible and accountable for providing and directing effective dialysis nursing care to individual and groups of patients for an aging, adult population + Document observations, assessments, and changes in patient’s condition + Sets up and check dialysis equipment and ensures it is operating properly, completing or reporting necessary corrections to appropriate personnel + Poised and articulated in communicating with people of varied educational levels and varied ethnic backgrounds + Works cooperatively as a member of a team in all assignments + Participates in unit/program level quality improvement processes and initiatives as well as customer service programs Qualifications + Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse academic program (BSN or ADN) + Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia + American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification + Three (3) years of recent Dialysis RN work experience is required + No sponsorship available  All candidates must be able to: + Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift + Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist + Lift up to 20 lbs + Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance + Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
