Product Operations Manager 

What will you do? 

A day in the life of a Product Operations Manager at Dickies looks a little like this. 

 

The Product Operations Manager will oversee the operational aspects of product development and lifecycle management, reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Product Development. This role requires a strategic and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in product operations, supply chain management, merchandising, and/or process optimization. The Product Operations Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our product process is effective and optimal.  

 

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. 

Drive Product GTM calendar, process, and associated documents.  

Provide reporting for GTM key milestones and steps such as line rationalization, SKU Productivity, Drop/Hit Rate, Line Plans at line lock/freeze, Margin file, etc.  

Understand the needs of each department (internal product teams and external like hubs) and timing of processes within teams.  

Provide tools to guide teams to remain on time.  

Help drive efficiency through GTM calendar and processes, through knowledge and working with cross-functional leaders/teams.  

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure samples and information for sales tools are provided timely and accurately.  

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth processes, accurate, and timely hand-offs between teams.  

Act as a liaison between Master Data teams globally and the brand.  

Align with master data to drive current and future systems globally.  

Understand the complexity of master data and ensure adherence from the product teams.  

Align to Article Hierarchy and drive global adherence.  

Work closely with Line Plan Coordinator and regional marketplace merch teams to ensure data accuracy.  

Liaison between VF Flex CoE team and brand for changes, enhancement requests, and quarterly Flex meetings.  

Understand how information flows within the product team, processes, and to the remainder of the business.  

Understand how information flows to Sys21 and is used by the remainder of the business.  

Assist the team in getting reports built. 

Liaison between IT and product teams as it relates to Power BI system. 

 

What do you need to succeed? 

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 5 years of experience and professional achievements.   

The foundation skills you will need in this position are: 

Strong organizational and project management skills.  

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.   

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and product lifecycle management (PLM) software.  

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.  

Creative mindset with the ability to support innovation in product operations.  

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.  

Knowledge of supply chain management and process optimization.  

Minimum of 5 years of experience in product operations, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably in the apparel or consumer goods industry.

Hiring Range:

$95,040.00 USD - $118,800.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
