Senior DTC Buyer

What will you do?

A day in the life of a Senior DTC Buyer at Dickies looks a little like this. 

Senior DTC Buyer will help drive strategies to fulfill customer expectations and needs from a product standpoint.  This position is key in ensuring that the merchandising strategy aligns with the overall brand goals and sales plan.  This position operates within the Commercial Merchandising Department.  This position reports to the Director of Regional Merchandising and will consistently partner with Finance, Sales Planning, Demand Planning and DTC leadership teams. 

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. 

Execute a DTC merchandising strategy that incorporates the overall Dickies business goals and brand positioning, elevating the brand  Work with merchandising and design teams to determine product segmentation and exclusives for the DTC channel and key marketplaces  Report and measure KPIs related to product initiatives and annual goals set for the segment   Plan, forecast, and manage seasonal assortments  Determine the complete assortment for both Dickies.com and assist in the coordination of key marketplaces and the brand stores  Stay connected to consumer trends impacting the Dickies channels of distribution  Participate in critical Digital WHS marketplace meetings  Lead the integration of the of the DTC planning and merchandising process by partnering with internal stakeholders  Take an active role in Dickies GTM process representing the DTC and WHS digital teams  

What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 8 years of experience and professional achievements. 

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally to deliver large complex initiatives across multiple internal and external stakeholders  Extensive Microsoft Excel abilities needed, along with capability in PowerPoint  Strong digital analytical and strategic thinking skills  Strong forecasting abilities  Ability to drive business to meet and exceed company objectives  Proficient in planning systems  Should have the aptitude of working in a team and making decisions based on study and evaluation  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)  Strategic thinking and active listening skills  Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment  Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently  8 years in merchandising, retail planning and buying in a DTC environment  Previous experience building/analyzing detailed item/location level retail data- synthesizing into actionable business insights

Hiring Range:

$112,000.00 USD - $140,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
