**Die Cast Technician | DIrect Hire** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Die Cast Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in die casting, troubleshooting, and machine operations. This role involves setting up and maintaining die-cast equipment, ensuring quality control, and working in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** + Identify and address die casting defects and probable causes. + Understand die start-up and heating procedures. + Repair water leaks on die-cast dies. + Set up dies completely, including water, oil, hydraulic lines, ejection, etc. + Set up trim dies completely, replace scrap hoppers under trim presses, and replace all safety guards. + Assist in solving setup problems and achieving production goals. + Work with Process Technicians to generate solutions. **Qualifications:** + Experience in die casting. + Troubleshooting skills. + Mechanical aptitude. + Machine operation proficiency. + Die-cast setup expertise. + Ability to read blueprints. + Quality checks knowledge. + Proficiency with hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and gauges. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a steady 8-hour shift with opportunities for overtime and weekend availability.
