The ideal candidate will have expertise as a qualified Sheet Fed Cutting Operator, including make-readies and operation. The candidate should be familiar with cutting machinery similar to or the same as Sheet Fed cutting equipment such as 162 CER, 1600 ER, 103, and 126-BMA. **Responsibilities** + Verify proper job before feeding the press + Perform press maintenance and lubrication + Provide daily quality checklist when inspecting pallets after cutting + Perform make ready and preventive maintenance activities + Run jobs with embossing inline + Keep daily time and materials usage reports and record information in PEAK + Disassemble machines to perform minor repairs or replace broken or worn parts, using hand tools + Perform hand packing as needed **Essential Skills** + Experience as a qualified Sheet Fed Cutting Operator + Proficiency with cutting machinery such as 162 CER, 1600 ER, 103, and 126-BMA + Die cutting + Machine operating + Facilitation of the cutting process of printed products **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required + Manufacturing experience preferred + Experience operating hand jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts preferred + Excellent attendance + Ability to work independently + Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily **Work Environment** The candidate will train on the day shift for about a month and then move to the overnight shift. Schedules can be up to 12-hour shifts from Mondays to Fridays and 8-hour shifts on Saturdays. Employees must have the ability to work alternate schedules and overtime that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
