PURPOSE /OBJECTIVE

The Die Cut Apprentice is responsible to learn the skillset to become a Journeyman Operator

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Set up and operate the die cut machine. Cutting matrix, mapping the die & help with make ready Load die in the machine, line it up, bolt it in place and lock it down Feed machine at speed Learning the skills necessary to operate assigned machinery. Responsible for prepping machine for the next production run, sheets, dies, etc. Evaluate production quality; bring concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Assist in training other die cut personnel. Troubleshoot production issues that may arise. Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area. Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. Overtime is required.
