Job Description
The Die Repair Technician’s purpose is to construct precision tools or dies that are used to cut, shape, and form metal and other materials. They produce jigs, fixtures, gauges, and other measuring devices.
ResponsibilitiesCreate new tooling or repair tooling according to specifications from the design team.Cut and shape tools with lathes and cutting machines.Proficiently run a Bridgeport, OD/ID Grinders, and other Surface Grinding machines.Use precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers to check the tool’s dimensions.Monitor machines to ensure efficient run rates, identify repairs, and suggest improvements.Essential Skills3+ years of die repair experience in a metal manufacturer setting.Machining capabilities: Bridgeport, grinders, lathe, etc. (cut and shape tools).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with lapping and polishing.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a well-equipped facility with advanced machining technologies including Bridgeport machines, OD/ID grinders, surface grinders, and lathes. The environment is focused on precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality production standards.

This is a Contract position based out of Utica, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
