**Job Title: Die Repair Technician** **Job Description** The Die Repair Technician’s purpose is to construct precision tools or dies that are used to cut, shape, and form metal and other materials. They produce jigs, fixtures, gauges, and other measuring devices. **Responsibilities** + Creating new tooling or repairing tooling according to specifications from the design team. + Cut and shape tools with lathes and cutting machines. + Proficiently run a Bridgeport, OD/ID Grinders, and other Surface Grinding machines. + Use precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers to check the tool’s dimensions. + Monitor machines to ensure efficient run rates, identify repairs, and suggest improvements. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of die repair experience in a metal manufacturing setting. + Machining capabilities: Bridgeport, Grinders, Lathe, etc. (Cut & Shape Tools) **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in honing and polishing is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values precision and excellence.
