**Job Title: Die Repairman**
**Job Description**
The tool room technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing the dies on 2nd shift. The individual will handle repairs both in the press and in the tool room. With 7+ years of experience, the candidate should be able to hit the ground running and ensure smooth operations during the 2nd shift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain and repair dies in the stamping presses (2x 2200 Schuler presses, 1x 750 ton, 2x 500 ton).
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot the fingers of the press.
+ Perform lock out tag out and troubleshoot broken punches within the press.
+ Utilize press gauges for tool & die setup.
+ Assist in training and teaching Die Setters to familiarize them with processes.
**Essential Skills**
+ Progressive Die troubleshooting experience.
+ 7+ years of Tool & Die maintenance experience.
+ Tool Room machinist skills (manual machining, surface grinders, etc.).
+ Certified in Cranes, Forklift operation.
+ In-press repair experience for troubleshooting progressive dies.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Problem-solving skills to diagnose issues with tools and dies in the Progressive die.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/schematics.
+ Capability to prioritize and address tool and die maintenance needs.

**Work Environment**
The company, recently established in the USA after acquiring assets in December 2023, is expanding and taking on new projects. The building, which includes a stamping side and robotic weld side, is currently being renovated with new fixtures. The facility operates multiple shifts, with plans for further expansion.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Warren, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $74880.00/yr.
Working thru new benefits package and working with the US to match the market
Starting from the ground up; would help get to make the plant what it is.
They just launched their 2nd shift; would eventually launch 3rd shift by Q4 / Q1 2025
