**Job Title: Die Repair Technician** **Job Description** The Die Repair Technician’s purpose is to construct precision tools or dies that are used to cut, shape, and form metal and other materials. They produce jigs, fixtures, gauges, and other measuring devices. **Responsibilities** + Create new tooling or repair tooling according to specifications from the design team. + Cut and shape tools with lathes and cutting machines. + Proficiently run a Bridgeport, OD/ID Grinders, and other Surface Grinding machines. + Use precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers to check the tool’s dimensions. + Monitor machines to ensure efficient run rates, identify repairs, and suggest improvements. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of die repair experience in a metal manufacturer setting. + Machining capabilities: Bridgeport, grinders, lathe, etc. (cut and shape tools). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with lapping and polishing. **Why Work Here?** Join a team dedicated to precision and excellence, where your skills will be valued and you will have the opportunity to work with advanced machinery.
