**Die Setter** Salary: $35360-$41600 per year Benefits: Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Voluntary coverages, Disability, Life insurance, 2 weeks’ vacation, 10 holidays, shutdown between Christmas and New Years Job Description: Assemble necessary tooling and setup shop floor equipment such as progressive dies, presses, or other manufacturing equipment designed to produce, trim, size, form, and finish drawn metal enclosures and stampings. + Assembles and installs proper tooling. + Checks for accuracy, fit, sharpness, and print specifications. + Checks for height, ID, OD wall thickness, finish, and other criteria specified drawings or special instructions. + Provides support to other die setters, operators, or other production personnel whenever quality or production problems occur. + Runs presses in the absence of operators. Requirements: + High School Diploma or GED equivalent. (Technical School preferred) + Technical Experience: 1 year in mechanical disciplines related to die setting or 1-year die setter experience (preferred) + Basic mechanical skills and abilities. + Operation of all die setter tools and measuring devices. + Understanding and interpretation of blueprints and drawings.
