**Job Title: Die Setter** **Job Description** + We are looking to add two experienced die setters to our team + In this role, you will work closely with the Die Repair and Operators + This position requires strong attendance and reliability **Responsibilities** + Set up stamping dies + Utilize progressive and transfer press knowledge + Change tools out + Properly set up dies and equipment + Set the next die up and onto the press + Clean press bolster and ram prior to setting a die, as well as cleaning both upper and lower die parallels + Follow setup instructions to bring the proper conveyors to the press and set them up as required + Unbolt dies after production runs, remove scrap, and place them in the proper location + Unhook transfer system items and store them properly if applicable + Set up a job in the press, including setting the die and necessary equipment, and obtaining first piece approvals + Competently operate the overhead crane **Essential Skills** + 4+ years experience as a metal stamping die setter + Forklift and Crane Certification + Experience in setting up and adjusting dies, jigs, fixtures, and cutting tools of progressive dies + Ability to load sheet metal coils and dies into presses + Experience with progressive dies ranging from 400 to 2200 tonnage + Knowledge of starting up and operating presses on the floor + Strong safety knowledge when setting dies and operating a forklift/crane **Shifts** Openings on multiple shifts **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54080.00/yr. Working thru new benefits package and working with the US to match the market Starting from the ground up; would help get to make the plant what it is.
