**Job Title: Die Setter**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Die Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in setting up progressive and line dies, as well as single hit presses. This role involves validating the first piece before submitting it to QC for inspection approval, sharpening punches and buttons, and performing general light maintenance of die sections.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up progressive and line dies and single hit presses.
+ Validate the first piece before submitting it to QC for inspection approval.
+ Sharpen punches, buttons, and perform grinding.
+ Conduct general light maintenance of die sections.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of experience in progressive and line die setting.
+ Experience with small dies (150-300 tons).
+ Flat grinding experience.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Blueprint reading skills.
+ Proficient in math.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in machine operation.

**Work Environment**
This is a first shift role, Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with potential Saturday shifts from 6:00 am to 11:00 am if needed. The average workweek is around 50 hours. The work involves handling small dies (150-300 tons) and requires a mechanical aptitude and proficiency in blueprint reading and math. The facility maintains a professional environment with a focus on safety and quality.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Livonia, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
