Base Pay: $60,000 to $78,000 annually

The Die Shop Technician is responsible for designing and developing dies for our plant extruders (including data analysis and conducting process/equipment trials), alongside preparing machining programs for CNC equipment (including providing technical support for the equipment). The idea candidate should have a keen understanding of product, process, and material specifications to uphold and enhance product quality within the manufacturing process, while ensuring customer concepts and specifications. This position would require close collaboration with the New Product Industrialization group (concerning new specifications/code development), as well as working hand-in-hand with production and maintenance teams in implementing die trials and provide area subject matter expertise during shutdowns and startups.  

Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Dependable job attendance is expected. Basic Computer skills preferred. 

Shift Information: 12-hr, 2-2-3 schedule

Work Environment: Texarkana, AR Plant 

The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory.  The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, and noisy.  Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing, and steel-toed shoes. 

Basic Qualifications: 

High school diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years of age   Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future   Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations  2 year Technical degree or equivalent combined with manufacturing experience (operations, quality or engineering)
