Position Summary

Blanking Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the blanking machine equipment along with quality control and working with templates and pins. Safely and
efficiently operate machine in a manner that consistently meets customer expectations while continuously improving productivity and lowering cost.

 

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

Setup, operate, and run blanking machine upon written instructions provided Ensure each job is produced to customer specifications, meeting internal and external deadlines Read and understand job tickets Follow all safety policies and regulations, report any potential hazards, near misses or accidents immediately Perform routine maintenance on the machine Handle quality control of product produced Handle and work with templates and pins for machine Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a operator. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure Ability to work independently as well as with a crew/team Experience on TXR1100 Kawahara machines is a plus

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment
This job operates in a production environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as manufacturing diecutting machines, presses, and forklifts. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; and see.
