**Diesel Equipment Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are looking to hire an experienced Heavy Equipment Service Technician Mechanic to join our growing team. We are one of the largest dealers in the United States for sewer cleaners, vacuum excavators, street sweepers, and related accessories. Our equipment is critical for maintaining clean streets and sewer systems, locating buried infrastructure during construction projects, and helping to build and maintain our electrical grid. **Responsibilities**
+ Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including sewer cleaners, vacuum excavators, and street sweepers.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatic systems on various machinery.
+ Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of equipment.
+ Learn and interpret Electrical and Hydraulic schematics.
+ Operate and test equipment to ensure proper function.
+ Complete and maintain accurate service records and reports.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatic systems on different types of machinery.
+ A complete toolset.
+ Clean driving record.
+ Ability to pass a drug screening.
+ Willingness to learn both Electrical and Hydraulic schematics.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with street sweepers and combination sewer cleaning trucks is a plus.
+ Willingness to obtain a Class B CDL.

**Work Environment**
You will work in a small, family-owned shop with a stable work environment year-round. The typical work hours are from 7-5, with some flexibility as needed.
