As a Machine Diesel Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of diesel-powered machinery and equipment. This role is crucial to ensuring the hiring company’s production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for their benefits package. **What you get to do (in a snap-shot):** + Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and related machinery. + Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues. + Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. + Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work. + Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve equipment issues. + Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. + Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues. + Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service. + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. **What we’d like you to bring to the opportunity:** + High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics / auto mechanics or a related field preferred. + Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel maintenance and repair. + Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems. + Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment. + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. **Apply Today:** Interested in learning more?
