What we offer:  Up to $28/HR  Must have a valid driver’s license. Class B CDL preferred but will train (will be expected within 3 months of start of training)  ASE Certification preferred. Must participate in ASE testing program within 1 year (expected to have 3 ASE certifications within 12 months of hire Full Health Benefits, Dental, Vision, & 401k with company match Job Purpose: This position requires the level of knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and repair work on vehicles (buses, trucks, vans etc.) which adheres to Transdev standards. Handles more complex problems and can resolve independently.  This individual must have the ability to effectively work and communicate with employees and customers.  Particular attention will be on timeliness and quality of repairs.  All work is to be performed with a commitment to safety.  Responsibilities:  Diagnose and accurately perform all phases of vehicle repairRemove, clean, repair, reinstall and adjust vehicle componentsEngine repair and diagnosisEngine emission componentsDriveline componentsElectrical / electronic componentsBrakes / suspension / steering / exhaustCab / chassisHydraulicsVarious Scan tool proficientEnsure work orders are properly completedSelect appropriate course of action for repairsEvaluate completed work prior to releaseEnsure safe use of power and hand-held toolsPerform road calls and emergency services as necessaryMoves vehicles safely between job and work areaCommunicate professionally with customers, team members and supervisorsActively participates in safety or educational training as requiredContinuous ASE re-certification is required to remain in job classificationThe above duties are not meant to restrict initiative but rather to define minimum activities.
