Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered construction equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and construction equipment.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
+ Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
+ Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
+ Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
+ Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
+ Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in the construction industry.
+ Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
+ Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
