You will be working to support a fleet of prototype heavy-duty trucks, focusing on the powertrain (engine, after treatment, transmission, etc.). These prototype vehicles drive around Oregon 24-7 and come to the building 2 times a day for the Technicians to install and remove hardware from the trucks per the Engineers’ instructions
Skills & Qualifications
•\tPowertrain hardware – Install/remove powertrain hardware per direction from engineer. Ensure hardware is installed per specification and document any hardware changes and/or measurements.
•\tElectrical – Build/assemble wiring harnesses used for powertrain data logging equipment
•\tSpecial tests – Support truck engineers in regards to hardware/ instrumentation installation/ removal
•\tTraining – Continue to gain knowledge of powertrain hardware
•\tMust have their own tools
•\tMust have 2+ years of hardware installation and removal experience
•\tMust have transportation experience, whether it be automotive, aerospace, bus, truck, etc.
•\tMust be able to build and install wiring harnesses

This individual will work on an Actalent team onsite in Portland, OR.
