Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards. The successful candidate will run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals.
ResponsibilitiesPerform minor and major repairs on trucks and busesConduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changesMaintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shopCollaborate with the repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairsPerform regular diagnostic tests on trucksMaintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehiclesEssential Skills1 - 3 years of experience working as a MechanicExperience with diagnostic and repair of enginesExperience with cooling and analog systemsDiesel Mechanic or auto mechanic experienceExperience working with Cooling and Analog systemsMust be able to obtain SIDA Badge for the AirportAdditional Skills & QualificationsCDL License (not required but a plus)Cummins Engine experience preferredExperience with electrical systems, troubleshooting, and power generation equipment repairWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
Candidates will be working in an indoor mechanic shop, which can get cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The culture is laid back with a strong emphasis on teamwork. You will be provided with steel-toed boots and a company uniform. Shift options include M-F, Tue-Sat, or Sun-Thurs with the following hours: 1st Shift (7am - 3:30pm), 2nd Shift (2pm - 10:30pm), and 3rd Shift (10pm - 6:30am).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00
