**NOW HIRING: Diesel Mechanic** **Job Description:** We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and inspections on cement/ready mix trucks and other heavy equipment, including forklifts, loaders, and lifts. This role demands proficiency in DOT repairs, engine replacements, rebuilds, and related tasks. **Shift:** 11:00am to 8:00pm **** **Responsibilities:** + Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on cement/ready mix trucks and other heavy equipment. + Perform DOT repairs, engine replacements, and rebuilds. + Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems. + Document all repairs and maintenance in accordance with DOT guidelines. + Travel to other sites for on-road breakdowns when trucks cannot return to the main site. **Essential Skills:** + Minimum of 3 years of experience with diesel engines. + Proficiency in engine repair, overhaul, and maintenance. + Experience with heavy equipment and diesel mechanics. + Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills. + Knowledge of hydraulic systems and repairs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + Preferred experience with heavy equipment repair. + Familiarity with DOT documentation and repair standards. + Expertise in hydraulic systems. + Strongly preferred experience working on Cummins Trucks. + Experience with cement trucks is highly desirable. **Why Work Here?** Join our dedicated team where your skills and experience will be highly valued.
