**Job Title: Diesel Mechanic** **Job Description** We are a waste disposal company operating fleets of trash trucks across Texas. We are seeking A Level technicians to repair and service our trucks 'bumper to bumper.' The role involves on-site truck maintenance, ensuring smooth operations, and making service calls to various locations. **Responsibilities** + Repair and service diesel trucks on site + Ensure trucks are running smoothly + Perform bumper to bumper repairs + Make service calls to trucks in various locations + Work on hydraulic systems, Peterbilt engines, and ISS motors **Essential Skills** + Multiple years of experience with diesel trucks + Proficiency in hydraulic systems, Peterbilt engines, and ISS motors + Ability to read and write in English **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience within the garbage maintenance truck industry preferred + 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience + Any certifications, training, or CDL is a plus + Ability to bring own tools/toolbox **Why Work Here?** We offer yearly tech and trade training courses with certifications, free CDL classes, 401K with employer match, full medical insurance, employee stock purchase plan, and employee discount programs. Candidates must be prepared for waste, smell, and the dirtiness associated with garbage trucks. This includes dealing with trash, dirt, and garbage, especially during the summer when conditions can be extreme. The location is 1101 Market Ave, Odessa, TX. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Odessa, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $43.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
