Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Shift: 3rd shift either 4:30pm-2:30am or 6:30pm-4:30am

Pay rate: $26.00-$33.00/hour (excluding a $4.00 shift differential)

We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic with 1-3 years of experience to join our transportation truck shop. The role involves handling all major repairs, including engine and transmission work, accident damage, preventative maintenance, and more. The successful candidate will ensure the transportation fleet is functional and operational, performing both routine and complex maintenance tasks.

ResponsibilitiesPerform all major repairs, including engine, transmission, and accident damage.Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as changing brakes, oils, and lights, as well as brake work and rear-end maintenance.Handle refrigeration equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.Repair major structural damage to trailers and internal components.Perform welding functions if required.Conduct basic service line functions such as checking air pressure and changing lights.Perform minor tune-ups and solve electrical, brake, and compressor issues.Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.Essential Skills2-3 years of prior diesel mechanic experience on tractor trailers or recent diesel mechanic schooling/certifications.Knowledge of refrigeration systems, CDL, transmissions, compressors, and diesel mechanics.Ability to perform preventative maintenance and engine repair.Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial repair and diesel engines.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00
