We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our client in Diep River. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on diesel trucks, buses, and other heavy-duty vehicles including transmissions and gearboxes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diesel engines and be knowledgeable in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Responsibilities:
Ensure proper maintenance and repair of diesel vehicles and equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication to ensure the proper functioning of diesel vehicles and equipment. Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical issues and determine necessary repairs or replacements. Minimize vehicle downtime due to electrical issues. Monitor the completion of preventive maintenance tasks to prolong the lifespan of vehicles and prevent unexpected breakdowns. Maintain the cleanliness and presentability of assigned vehicles to ensure a positive reflection on the organization’s image. Diagnose customer concerns with equipment before booking it in for service or repair when necessary. Ensure all work is completed to stipulated quality standards. Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel engines and systems. Interpret diagnostic codes and technical manuals to determine appropriate repair procedures. Perform mechanical diagnostics as required.Qualifications:
