Diesel Mechanic
**Job Title: Diesel Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with one day a week at another site in the Kittanning area, totaling 40-50 hours a week. A work truck will be provided. You will work with various types of machinery, including 3512 CATS, CUMMINS QSK 45, and 50. Experience with Diesel Dual Fuel/High Horsepower and Frac equipment is preferred. Day shift. **Responsibilities** + Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to manufacturer's requirements. + Inspect machines, engines, and transmissions and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues. + Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability. + Troubleshoot and repair reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner. + Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment. + Track and schedule preventive maintenance and repairs using the Fleetio app. + Order parts and tires for delivery. + Track all repairs and tire costs on the Fleetio app. + Respond to road service calls and perform repairs. + Diagnose, rebuild, and repair vehicles and equipment with minimal supervision. + Perform inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment, including oil changes. + Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of air, electrical, hydraulics, and fuel systems. + Assist, mentor, and train other maintenance and Mechanic I employees. + Prepare and maintain records and reports accurately. **Essential Skills** + Experience with diesel engines and machinery, specifically 3512 CATS, CUMMINS QSK 45, and 50. + Ability to diagnose, rebuild, and repair vehicles and equipment with minimal supervision. + Proficiency in performing inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment. + Advanced troubleshooting and repair skills for air, electrical, hydraulics, and fuel systems. + Strong record-keeping and report preparation skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Diesel Dual Fuel/High Horsepower. + Frac equipment experience preferred. + Ability to mentor and train other maintenance employees. **Why Work Here?** Join our team and enjoy a supportive work environment that values your skills and expertise. The work environment is equipped with the necessary tools and technology to perform your duties efficiently. You will have a structured schedule with a mix of shop work and field service calls. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
