Diesel Mechanic
**Job Title: Diesel Mechanic** **Job Description** Candidates will be servicing a variety of equipment including pickups, forklifts, asphalt equipment, semi tractors, rollers, motor graders, and wheel loaders. The role involves oil changes, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting in the shop, and full repairs. Candidates with experience in full motor rebuilds are preferred, but training is available for the right candidate. Ideal candidates will be A level Techs, but the company is open to training promising individuals. **Responsibilities** + Perform oil changes and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment. + Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform full repairs. + Conduct motor rebuilds and other in-depth mechanical tasks. + Ensure all equipment and vehicles used on job sites are in top working condition. + Work on a range of equipment including pickups, forklifts, asphalt equipment, semi tractors, rollers, motor graders, and wheel loaders. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of experience troubleshooting equipment. + 1 year as a mechanic. + Own tool set for completing repairs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 5+ years of equipment/mechanic knowledge. + 5+ years of experience working in a fleet shop/equipment shop (CAT, JD, NMC, Murphy). + 2+ years of experience in the construction industry. + Open to candidates with minimal experience who are eager to learn and grow. + Experience as a heavy-duty mechanic with engine replacement experience is a plus. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $42.00/hr.
