Diesel Mechanic (Up To 30/hr)
**Description:** Ability to solve complex problems with clear analytical thought taking into account multiple factors and tradeoffs Ability to analyze test results, machine error messages and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems Ability to clean, lubricate and adjust parts, equipment and machinery Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing or repairs Ability to understand blueprints and manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts and assemble new equipment Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery **Skills:** blueprint, troubleshooting, conveyor maintenance, schematic, heavy equipment technician, mechanic, technician, Seabee, Gearbox, Voltmeter, electrical, mechanical, welding, Hydraulics, Preventive maintenance, Repair, Maintenance technician, Industrial **Top Skills Details:** blueprint,troubleshooting,conveyor maintenance **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** Ability to work in adverse conditions including cold, hot and dirty environments • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodations Minimum of 3 years experience servicing industrial machinery Ability to work safely from heights Ability to wok a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evening/night shifts Knowledge of 3 phase electrical Experience in servicing automated production equipment with Programmed Logic Control Modules (PLCs) is a plus **Experience Level:** Entry Level **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
